Yes. LHS Handyman Services carries public liability insurance for your peace of mind.

What types of jobs do you take on?

We take on a wide range of handyman, property maintenance and home improvement jobs, including painting and decorating, flat-pack assembly, TV wall mounting and minor repairs. We also provide technology, business and stock & merchandising support.

Do you take on small jobs?

Absolutely. No job is too small. Whether you need a quick repair, a small piece of furniture assembled or a few jobs around the property taken care of, we're happy to help.

Do I need to provide the materials?

Not necessarily. Where required, we can source and supply suitable materials for your job. We'll discuss any materials needed with you beforehand and include the cost in your estimate or quote.

How much do you charge?

Our standard handyman rate is £40 per hour, with a £170 half-day rate and £320 full-day rate. Our minimum charge is £60.


TV wall mounting starts from £75 for TVs up to 55 inches, with prices increasing for larger TVs depending on screen size and installation requirements.


TV unboxing, attaching the feet and placing the TV safely on an existing stand is £65.


Additional costs may apply for materials such as TV brackets, cable trunking or other items required for the job. We'll always confirm the full price with you before work begins.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Where appropriate, we can provide a free, no-obligation estimate. For some smaller jobs, we may be able to give you a price based on the information you provide.

How soon can you start my job?

We aim to arrange work as soon as we can, subject to our availability and the nature of the job. When you contact us, we'll discuss your requirements and let you know our earliest available dates.

Do you work outside?

Yes. We can carry out a range of suitable outdoor maintenance and improvement work, subject to the job, weather conditions and safe working requirements.

What happens if you find a problem once work has started?

If we discover an unexpected problem or additional work is required, we'll explain the issue to you before carrying out any additional chargeable work. We will discuss the options and any change in cost with you and obtain your approval before proceeding.
